Piper.........."A man and his dog"
The 99 Nomad. This was one of the last engines to be built by SCP while Steve Lacewell owned it. This is the bike that Snake loaned to Fart when he was visiting the US a couple of years ago. KT saved the burned bikes, and plans to make planters out of them. This was parked outside so wasn't burned quite as bad as the others
Fly elected to ride up to the "home site" at KT's place. Loose dirt and a steep hill did him in. Sandy and Deb are surveying the situation while the gas is running out
Not a "one man" job to pick up a Concours on a hill...the camera doesn't show the grade very well.
It's up again!
From happier times
All that's left of a trike.
The pond below the home site.
Two more of the bikes that were in the garage.
Sometime before long, there will be a nice new manufactured home sitting on this spot.
Another one of Snake's toys...........it got pretty hot.
Lunch at the Wild Buffalo Cafe in Columbus, Indiana
KT came up to visit for awhile. She has to have surgery on her shoulder next week.
KT, Sandy, Brillo and Jax
Friday evening, after coming back from a very WET ride!
Mary with here babies. Lucy had 4 pups, they kept the largest male of the litter. He's a real sweetie!
Piper and Mary arrived last night with Lucy and her son.............
Pat drove over for dinner and a little time at the campfire before returning to his home in Bloomington.
These old wheels make good fire pits! Brillo is in charge of keeping the fire going.
Sandy takes a short nap in front of the campfire.
Jim Ayers rolls in about 9 PM. He rode a bus for 37 hours on his way to Wichita, Kansas to pick up this Gold Wing, then he rode it here to the Gnawbone in Indiana. He hasn't been in bed for about 3 days, so he's looking forward to his KOA Kamping cabin tonight!
More campfire shots.
Skid is entertaining a couple of motorhome people at breakfast this morning. There are some beautiful rigs here in the campground.
Our "free" breakfast at the KOA this morning.
Brillo is chasing Phin into the Men's room!
Jax was given this shirt by a couple of "World Travelers" that happened to be in Colorado this summer.
A Misty Morning in the campground. After a HARD rain at 4 AM, we have big puddles and a dampened attitude. But...........we'all all glad to be here!

Fly, Deb, Don, Sherm, Wompus, Sandy and Skid.
Lunch at Larry's. The company was good, the food left a lot to be desired.............Although I notice Skid's plate is empty! :-)
Skid, Brillo and Fly check the laptop for weather radar. It's not looking real good today..or tomorrow...or the next 2 or 3 days!
Deb and Sandy
Jax makes his entry. He can't deny he's "all wet"
Jax, Skid, Phin and Brillo. some "wet boys"
Phin's trailer got a lot of attention in the campground.
Skid, Jax and Phin. Jax and Phin rode in the rain almost all day to get here to the KOA.
Pat brought up a bunch of firewood for the nightly fires.
Deb and Brillo. Deb rescued my black Logger hat from a cafe where I left it!
Skid and Sandy with the bird feeder behind their tent camper.
Debbie, Fly, Brillo, Evil, Sandy
Another fine WARB dinner. 12 here now, expect 4 more tomorrow, and that will be about it.
Sandy, Skid, Don and Sherm busy keeping up with the news and all the important stuff of being a modern day motorcycle rider.
The campground has a pretty nice pool.
Sandy checking out a fighter plane while getting out of the rain under the covered bridge in the KOA.
There is an Air National Guard base right behind the KOA. These F-16's (I think) have been flying around all morning. Some very low and noisy. But cool to watch.
First function for the early arrivers. Deb and Don, Skid and Sandy, and Fly. This place was recommended by the Campground host. The service and food was excellent, and the early bird prices were VERY reasonable. We enjoyed it a lot, and plan to return when the rest of the folks get here. The B&F Gnawbone has started!
My little BLT. Served with a delicious home made Rosemary and other spices and herbed chicken soup. Most excellent.
Deb's , Don's, Sandy's and a little of Skid's steak dinners,
Fly's Salmon dinner. Looked real good.
Home of the 2007 Gnawbone...the KOA in Terre Haute, Indiana
